Who Likes to watch movies with breaks...

 Trend of first on television is now all settled in India. The moment a movie releases it’s been booked by various channels to telecast it first. No wonder a movie released few weeks ago is now on your television. The surprise for me is that people are not interested to watch these movies. I was living in a myth few weeks ago that people like this concept of first on television but since last few experiences I came to know that its not something people prefer.

Watching movie on TV channels is not the trend now. Why? Well one major reason that I heard from my friends is, “who likes to watch movie with breaks “ and without any control of fast forward and rewind. Ok then solution to this is digital TV service providers (like TataSky, Dish TV and IPTV). They provide their own video library or video on demand service which is without any breaks and is in viewer’s control.

Watching movies on laptops is something youth loves nowadays. It’s good to have your own movie collection. In fact some people even have their own video library.Watching movie on 14inch screen and watching same in a theatre are two totally different experiences and have no comparisons with each other.

So Is it worth showing a movie on TV when people are loosing all their interest of watching them?
